The two sides of Warren Kimble:
America's foremost folk artist AND taking new directions.

His new works are completely different from anything you are familiar with. His recent showing at the Feick Center at Green Mountain College, "New Work: How Many Widows" are Iraq-related pieces inspired while at an artists' retreat. When listening to an NPR story about three more soldiers dying, Mr. Kimble thought of the women and children, the widows, whose lives would be forever changed. And there are other pieces which deal with the daily lives of people who have been affected by the war, the everyday details of home life which have been altered because of this war.

View Warren Kimble's exhibition at Green Mountain College, just minutes from the Birdhouse Inn.

Do you know any of those folks in the crod?
