We enjoyed Steve Cutting and Laksiri Peiras' entertaining and inspirational talk with videos about the work of the Asian Rural Institute in Japan where they work. ARI helps to train community leaders from developing countries to be more effective in their roles through organic farming methods, community organization, and building stronger bonds throughout.
In the past 30 years ARI has trained over 1,000 leaders to assist their people all over the world. Founded by Dr. Tom Takami, a Japanese UCC minister, ARI needs your help and support.
This was Steve and Laksiri's second visit to Poultney; we throughly enjoyed their presentation and hope to see them again soon. Here and in Japan!
