6o years of Williams Hardware in beautiful Poultney, Vermont.

What a celebration! Everyone who was there was there!!

Many thanks to Christine for her wonderul violin accompaniments!

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eagles at Sugarbush celebrated its 25th anniversary. This wonderful resort is four star **** rated. We've been coming here for almost 23+ years! It's convenient to all the skiing, Warren, Ben & Jerry's, Stowe, Cabot Cheese on Rt. 100, Burlington, Montpelier, etc, etc. A great four season place to be!

Here we are with Dee Dee, one of the resort managers, and Michelle, who also works at Eagles. Michelle is an elementary school art teacher. Bless her.

Eagles is a great place to be, ANYTIME.

Stopped by to picnic at the North Poultney Cemetery on Route 30. On a hill overlooking some nice farmland, just by the Delaware and Hudson Rail Trail. This is a very nice trail for walking, biking and snowmobiling or whatever you would like to do any season.

Sake Tasting, Pictures II.

Dee-lish shush foods courtesty of Heather's Japanese Catering Company!

We raced through the back yard to Steve and Heather's home for our First Annual Sake Tasting, complete with some tradional foods.

With a detailed presentation from Steve, we had a chance to taste eight sakes. All served cold, except for one. The creamy, unfiltered, white sake was very iteresting and would be a good choice with the appropriate foods. We "donated" a sake that our friend Masami brought to us on his last visit to as the USA and Connecticut.

I'm working on the the tasters' ratings and will give you a final report on the "favorite" sake in a few days. Gotta do the math, you know!

Great hosts, Steve and Heather!

Our seaweed-warm wakame- salad was well- received and the "hit of the evening" was Masumi's green tea ice cream. Wonderful!! Great for a first time creation, eh?

Can you find and name all the sake tasters here?

The Rutland K of C Hall was where we were for the Happy Birthday Party for our gal, Val.

How old are you now, Val?

Who are the singers?

The Chicks are a month old now and getting ready to leave the nest!

Isn't this Buff Orpinton cute?

Guess who we got to meet at the Rutland area PEGTV annual meeting?

Any takers?
