Our friends enjoying our party for Karen.

Look who's here!

At 7 AM we made a presentation to the Poultney Rotary Club about Dismas House and its wonderful mission to help those who have left the Vermont Corrections system. This helpful support system provides counseling, housing, meals and comraderie in Rutland. When it costs $43,000 to house an inmate in jail and $17,000 to support a person at Dismas House it is a no-brainer as to why Dismas Hosue is needed, not only for financila reasons but for the social intergration that will help these men and women regain their dignity to be productive members of our community.
The Rotary Club members, led by President Ed McHale and Crispin White , support Dismas House's activities and hope to attend the Auction and Dinner on May 20.
Would anyone like to take out an ad in the Program Ad Book, too?
Thanks to Valerie for inviting us to speak at the meeting.

We are taking our hot sauces and hot mustards on "the Road" to the East Poultney General Store for some samples and tastings to see what folks really like here...tasty and flavorful, not just heat, right?

It's just a quick trip for Joe Byk from New Hampshire and he hopes that his son will commit to GMC with its wonderful Environmental Studies program.

Of course, under Dr. Steve Fesmire's direction, that program is now the "crown jewel" of the GMC curriculum...nice going, Steve...

Our first alumnae of GMC staying with us...Lisa Taverna's daughter loves GMC...see you again!

Cindy Zap and husband visiting Green Mountain College, it's Open House weekend!
