Thanks for all your pledges and donations to our efforts at Crop Walk. You helped to contribute over $600 towards the total to ease hunger in our community and world-wide.

We had guests from Almont, Ontario who surprised their daughter, Kayla, at Castleton State College. Mr. and Mrs. Twigge spent a happy but fairly "wet" weekend at Homecoming.

They enjoyed our four chickie egg ham and cheddar omelet, the first time we used an Araucana's egg! Along with Perry's Smashed Potato Homefries, sausage, fried apple rings, fresh fruit and bran muffins with raisins they were prepared for the 6 hour drive back home...

...see you again when you are visitng Caslteton.

Henny Penny is our first chicken to lay eggs...a very cute Red Star hen.

Our eggs are all organic!

It's origami night at the Spiral Press Cafe, Machester with Leyla Torres and friends.

Leyla showed us how to make birds to decorate a branch in honor of the September 11 events and all those who are making sacrifices in Iran and other places.

I showed them how to make a unit origami cube!
